Zinc flake dip-spin coatings vs. hot dip Galvanise and mechanical coating
We are manufacturing fasteners in Gauge finish, in Hot Dip Galvanise and mechanical coating. We have some issues with the coating & salt spray life as many times it is rusted. We have heard that zinc flake dip-spin coating is a good solution for our problem but, what is the cost feasibility & advantages of it over HDG or mechanical coating? What other value addition is in the coating? Also is there any other coating which can be used to solve our problem? Also is it the most advanced coating technology for anti corrosion in fasteners?

Dear Luv Myra,
Zinc flake coating are always advisable on Fasteners.
This type of coating is better for Corrosion resistance and Free from Hydrogen de embrittlement.Cost factor is depends on the Part profile, thickness requirement and the Base preparation.
Inbulit lubricant solutions also available in market.
