Information (technical papers) on nickel electroforming
hi everybody, I'm msc student of applied chemistry in Amirkabir University of Iran. I'm very interested in electroforming and I had read most of reviews about it in the web, but they aren't enough and I have a lot of questions about it. Anybody has some papers about electroforming (especially about nickel electroforming)? I really thank you that you're helping me

Hi, Majid. There are a few good papers on the Nickel Institute website at www.nickelinstitute.org. They used to have dozens on that site, but I am only seeing a few now; you might inquire whether they have more. Best of luck with it.

hi dear Ted,really thank you to answering me.I had read them but they don't have experimental details and they say just some main principles.I want to be familiar to the nickel electroforming process.but I can't find details. for example you can find bath concentration in papers but they add some materials for increasing hardness or leveling agents(I mean exactly the name of that leveling agent)and etc. that they don't write them in these papers.I want to be familiar to an electroformer and learn them.I really need this information.however really really thank you because of helping me.

Sorry, Majid, but if the Nickel Institute no longer has the kind of papers you are seeking, I don't know where they are available for free. Just a few years ago that site had dozens if not hundreds of highly technical papers on electroforming, but I agree that I only see the more simplistic stuff there at my first glance now. But they may have them if you inquire where to look.
If you do not demand free papers, you can search for "nickel electroforming" on Google Scholar at scholar.google.com, but usually you have to pay for copies of those papers. Best of luck.
