Surface treatment of 6061 that has won't affect the flatness of 1 um

I have an application that needs to machine to surface flatness of 6061 to 1 µm (10^-6 m) and hope after surface treatment will maintain that quality. Is there any surface treatment for 6061 can achieve this?

Electroless plating of metals such as nickel should be able to hold your flatness requirments but my suggestion is whatever coating you use to apply enough of it to machine, grind or hone the coating back to your dimensional and flatness tolerances
