Recover gold from jewelry polishing dust & sweeps with oven or using thiourea

Q. I Bhupesh Mulik am working as refining officer in jewellery company. I am using sodium cyanide for recovering gold from jewellery polishing dust after aqua regia process. I got around 35 gm gold from 10 kg residue(jewellery polish dust).
But I know that it is poisonous and dangerous. so I want to start thiourea this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] leaching process.
Can anyone guide me simple and easy process of thiourea leaching?

A. Without incineration, I doubt if direct leaching will be that efficient, no matter what you use. Here is a non-cyanide method that works.

thumbs up sign Thanks Chris,
there is one article of me on finishing.com of question no.34273, or recovery of gold by bombing on ganoksin.com (200409) at www.ganoksin.com/orchid/archive/200409/thrd17.htm
you will get my simple and easy process of cyanide leaching, but I want simple and easy process by using thiourea this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] or sodium thiosulphate this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] because cyanide is dangerous mainly HCN gas.cyanide affects on hemoglobin.
I had not understand how to give redox potential of 150 mv to 250 mv. to leaching solution? how much % of recovery obtained by thiourea?
I've not started this process yet but I ordered 500 gm thiourea this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] for experiment in my company lab.

Ed. note July 2021: Ganoskin.com still has archives of such discussions, but that link no longer appears to point to the appropriate place.
