Replacement for Alodine 1201

April 21, 2010

Hi,
what is the replacement product that is not carcinogenic for Alodine 1201 this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] ?
thanks

Hi, Vito. Alodine is a Henkel trademark, so if you are looking for a Henkel replacement you would need to go to Henkel. But generically you are speaking of RoHS-compliant chromate conversion coatings for aluminum, and they are available from Luster-On, Macdermid, Chemetall, Metalast, Surtec and others.

Regards,
