Leopard print effect on reworks
Dear sirs, I work at a powder-coat plant and my question is how come when we paint a rework it sometimes has spots on it like leopard print.

Unfortunately, you have not supplied sufficient info for anyone to help you.
a) Is the refurb over old powder or over a clean substrate which the old powder has been removed?
b) If over old powder do you lower the Kv to about 40 Kv?
c) What is the substrate metal?
If you could send me some images of the problem this will help.
