How to strip nickel (electroless) off steel parts?

Is there any way other than a cyanide based to strip nickel off of steel?

Thanks for any insight.

metalx is an advertiser and their B-9 works pretty well on electroless. The higher your phos content, the slower it will be. It helps if you strip anodically instead of by simple immersion. Their data sheet tells you how.

We use a product that we get from Atotech, it strips electroless off very easily without damaging the base metal
