Solutions to Problems of gold plating onto copper jewelry
I galvanize organic products on copper and then gold or silver plate them (leaves, seeds, shells) to make jewelry. I don't get a good bright finish. Should I tin plate the copper before gold plating for an excellent result?
Thanks,

Hi, Hernando. No, you should nickel plate them or, even better because it is non-allergenic, white bronze plate them before gold plating.
