UF Module Suddenly Failed To Separate E Coat
Good day
During plant shutdown we had discharge any e coat paint from UF module and replace it with undiluted lattice acid(not sure the concentration). After 5 days when we did the cleaning and suddenly 9 of 14 UF module failed to separate e coat (turbidity fault). Is this due to we 'soaked' the UF module too long with lattice acid or any other reason. Thanks in advance

Dear Mr Kamalul,
It possible you may have damaged the membrane whilst routine cleaning; its also possible that a wrong fitting or broken bushes may be causing the permeate to pass through directly.
Please refit the membrane and look for the cause.
