Tell me about cyanide process for gold dissolution

I am very, very curious. I have made nitric acid and have dissolved silver,copper,sterling,etc..but I would love to see cyanide dissolving silver or gold and want to know where I can see a video of such.also need to know if hydrogen cyanide is released when dissolving gold.

Forget that David -it is dangerous process and probably against law. There are proprietary and DIY cyanide-free gold plating solutions.Hope it helps and good luck!
