E-coating of parts that were manufactured to size
We are currently manufacturing shafts with include key-ways - with the OD of the shaft holding to tight tolerances. If the shaft is to size before e-coating will it maintain that size or does the coating "add" size?

Hi, Michael. E-coating adds size, but not as much as most platings and coatings. some E-coatings are only a couple of ten-thousandths of an inch whereas powder coatings may be 10x thicker.
