Maximum allowable metal contaminant levels in various plating baths

I am involved in assisting customers in the plating industry, and have had numerous queries regarding allowable/maximum metal contaminant levels in plating solutions (e.g. nickel, chrome, zinc _acid and alkaline, copper_acid and alkaline etc.). As well as in cleaning solutions (alkaline, acid).

I have done much searching on the web for this information, but it does not seem to be available, so am looking for an electroplating book or source of information that could assist me with my query please.

If someone has suggestions as to possible books or resources that are available with contaminant level information, this would be very helpful.

Thank you.

Hi, Karen. I think The Canning Handbook [on eBay, Amazon, AbeBooks affil links] would be the best reference for this. Good luck.
