Finishing Delrin
I am looking for methods of removing machine lines from black delrin parts. Vibratory, abrasive blasting, sanding, leave the parts looking white. Does anyone have a suggestion on how best to do this. One person told me they coat the parts with "Armor All" ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] after an Aluminum Oxide grit blast. I appreciate your input.

There is only one way to do this using mass finishing equipment; however, before I answer your question, there is the question of the actual finish to the parts right now. That is, if you have a lot of surface variation, you may need as much as a 5 step process to get your parts smooth enough to be restored to its original condition. Now, the answer is to use dry organic wood media in either in either a barrel, vibratory or high energy equipment. This procedure is used a lot to restore the clarity back to cut acrylic plastic parts. If you need more details or supplies, get in touch.
