Paint on black refrigerator on outside deck has become dull
December 29, 2009
We have a black refrigerator on an outside deck, exposed to salt and humidity. When washing the door, the black finish (shiney) appeared to come off. We are now left with a cloudy, dull black door.
What suggestions do you have that might help restore the shiny black finish?
Thanks,
Nancy

Hi, Nancy. Unless I am misunderstanding the situation, refrigerators aren't designed and painted to be outdoors. A local body shop can repaint it with automobile paint. Good luck.
