Will Powder Coat contaminate an Argon Environment?

Does powder coating give off any moisture after it is applied. We have an application where we need a pure environment and are concerned about having painted components inside the chamber due to the possibility of contamination. Is the same issue true for powder coated materials?

As I am not sure of your question "Does powder coating give off any moisture after it is applied"... I will offer two answers.
a) After the powder is applied to the substrate the item requires to be baked to complete the PC process. If using a TGIC free powder, moisture can be a by-product of this reaction if 'Primid' is used as the cross-linker.
b) However, if you are asking about a fully cured PC component, then if the applicator has followed all the correct parameters (baked for the time and temp recommended by the supplier) then you should end up with a coating that has no free radicals to cause you any problems.
