Simple ways of making PCBs / PWBs




I am electrical engineering student in one of african universities and have no idea of making PCB in home please suggest me an affordable materials and simple ways to make small pcbs

Hi, Ayana. People can't teach you an entire technology in the few sentences appropriate to a response in a public forum, but "print and etch" would be the simplest way to make simple circuit boards. The non-conductive paper phenolic core of the board has a copper foil glued to one or both sides. You put a resist on the foil either by silk screening a pattern onto it or by putting a photosensitive resist on the whole board and selectively exposing it via a photographic process. Then you etch the board, which leaves copper traces only where you wish them to be.
