Rhodium plating gold
I have a rhodium bath and it is doing great on everything except on small prongs. it leaves a burnt or chalk look on the tips of the prongs

Hi, Stanley. Yes, that sounds exactly like what platers call "burning". The prongs have a very high current density on them and you must plate at a lower current.
