Stripping Hafnium Silicondioxide from aluminum
I have parts with a 6061 Al. base material. I have Hafnium Silicondioxide deposition on the parts. I am looking for a wet process to remove the deposition without causing or etching the Al. If anyone could be of any help that would be great. I have been using HF, Acetic, Ammonium Bifluoride, and DI water with no success. I would greatly appreciate some assistance if anyone is familiar with this deposition.
