Cleaning antique brass light fixture
Hi, I have a brass chandelier from my grandmother that is really beautiful but very dirty. What can I clean it with and still keep the antique look to it?

Hi, Frady. If this is so treasured that damage is unthinkable, you would need to go to a metal conservator. But I think you will find that you can use dishwashing detergents and clean it fine without any effect on the patina; I'd probably avoid lemon or citrus types.
