Zinc migration test methods
Hi dear friends,
I work in a company in which we produce plumbing brass fittings with tin plating. These days unfortunately, we have a sort of problem with our fittings due to staining some parts of them that might be related to Zinc migration (dezincification) process.
It is noticeable that we have used a barrier of Nickel beneath the tin plating layer to solve the problem. Now, we need any kind of zinc migration (dezincification) testing method to know whether this method is a beneficial one.
We will be thankful if you inform us of any kind.
Yours faithfully,
