Plastic coating on stainless steel carrier fingers in plating machine

My plating machine is using carrier with fingers to hold and conduct current to parts. Existing fingers is partially coating with Teflon as a insulation to plating solution. However, when times goes on, this Teflon coating will expand and the chemical seep through the Teflon and metal opening causing contamination to the plated part. I try to look for better coating with tight adhesion between metal and plastic which does no allow any water/chemical seep through. Can any expert tell me what is the suitable plastic coating I should choose?

Cheng,
Without seeing the fingers and not knowing the plating solutions, cleaners, activators and their temps, I can't give you a good answer. Why not contact the plating machine manufacturer to see if there would be an alternative coating that can be used for your particular applications?

You could try PEEK Coating. It offers exceptional scratch resistance, corrosive resistance and very low particle release suitable for cleanroom environment.PEEK Coating is available in ESD and non-ESD type.
