Req. a minimal coating (50-60 micron) for zinc savings




Dear sir,
I have a galvanizing plant (7x1x1 mtr). I have a problem due to more zinc coating .We req. zinc coating between 50-60 micron . Sir pl send me best process for zinc saving. which type of flux to use.

Sir:

I suggest that you go to the Search Engine on this site and put in: Triple Flux Galvanizing. There are many responses that should answer your question.

I could not help but notice that you kettle is 1 meter wide and 1 meter deep. Thus your depth/width ratio is one. It is far better to have the depth/width ratio between about 1.5 and 2. With such a shallow kettle your kettle life will be much shorter and the production (tons/hour) will be severely limited (Unless of course you overheat the side walls and burn up the kettle even sooner.
