Seeking spray lacquer
I am trying to find a clear spray lacquer to finish a piece of brass which I have put a black patina on. I would prefer a satin or matte finish. The piece is to become a necklace pendant, so it will be worn against skin.

Hi, Amy. G.J. Nikolas [a finishing.com supporting advertiser] is a premier supplier of lacquers and can surely suggest a good one for this. Good luck.

Try baked (30 minutes/150 °C) 20% shellac solution (french polish). You can add some matting compound too. Hope it helps and good luck!

As matting agent you can use Cabosil (USA product). Hope it helps and good luck!
