How to calculate number of hours to be tested in salt spray?
Hi Sir,
I have a doubt regarding Salt spray test what is procedure or formula we have to calculate no of hours to be calculated?

Hi, G. There is no such formula. If you are processing per a spec, that spec will often dictate the number of hours required. If you are not processing per a spec, or the spec does not dictate the number of hours, then you find satisfactory parts, test them, and use that number of hours in the future as a way of checking that your process has not deteriorated.
