Proper disposal of copper sulphate in the lab

I am in school for Laboratory technician we are working with proper disposing methods. How would I dispose a copper sulphate this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] Solution?

In accordance with law, Contessa :-)

Depending on where it came from, there probably will be laws regulating how it must be disposed of. But if you are asking how you can safely dispose of a small amount of it as a student, the best procedure may be to put steel wool in it, so most of the copper will plate out as metal, then neutralize it with baking soda [in bulk on eBay or Amazon [affil links] . Good luck.
