Cheapest possible reflective coating for steel?

September 16, 2009

Hello:

I am in charge of making some large sections of steel wall that are reflective on one side and ANSI 61 gray on the other. I was thinking... should I just powdercoat the steel white on the reflective side, or should I get it plated? I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible but still have some good results. I'm wondering if powdercoating it white is a good compromise between cost and performance.

Thank You for the help!

You might consider aluminum/silver/chrome paint for more reflectivity. What is your definition of reflective?
