Reference electrodes, set-up and suppliers
September 10, 2009
I am starting a very small electropolishing bath for copper, and have figured out that I definitely need a reference electrode to accurately control the polishing conditions. Saturated calomel electrodes are continually referenced, but I don't see why a silver reference electrode wouldn't work.
Can I buy one of these from a supplier online, and how should it be wired or attached for best results in my electropolishing solution.
