Selection of a Nitriding Atmosphere

In a process design for control of a nirtiding atmosphere using hydrogen sensors.
Is it better the use ammonia

eBay or
Amazon [affil links] & nitrogen atmosphere or an ammonia & dissociated ammonia atmosphere.
Our concern is producing IGN in M50 tool steel, when the nitrogen content is too high.
Thus which of these atmosphere selections would work better with a hydrogen sensor.
