Brass faucet finish problems
I have old brass faucets in my bath (built in 89). I took them and the tub jet covers to a local electroplating company for refinish. They looked good for about a month. The job was terrible. I don't know how to get parts to change everything to something different, nickel.bronze. Does this electroplating work? Can it be guaranteed? I don't like the brass but could live with it provided I could get a finish that lasts. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Without pictures it's difficult to give you any advise on what went wrong during the plating process.
Beyond that if you are looking to create a good finish on the hardware and they are real bronze (not just plated) there are a number of finishes that you can do in your own home that will stand up to a few years of wear and tear.
