What chemical for brass and copper polishing/bright dipping?
Q. WE HAVE BRASS & COPPER TUBES IN OUR INDUSTRY.THEY ARE VERY BLACKISH IN COLOUR FOR USING REGULARLY.WE WANT TO CLEAN THEM CHEMICALLY WITHOUT BRUSHING BECAUSE THERE IS WAY TO CLEAN MANUALLY. PLEASE SUGGEST US THE CHEMICALS USED FOR CLEANING OF OLD BRASS & COPPER.

A. Hi, Prashant. There are several possibilities for copper bright dips, but the one I'd certainly try first is sulfuric acid plus stabilized hydrogen peroxide. Contact a local plating chemical distributor. Good luck!
