Alternate method for vibro finishing

Dear All,
We are one of leading surface treatment company engaged in treatments like SURSULF,ARCOR etc. After processing,to improve the surface finish we utilise Vibro barrel macines with ceramic media.
Our problem is ,these ceramic media of smaller size (broken tiny pieces) are getting clogged in to small holes, keyways etc, causing quality problems and manpower for inspection.

Kindly suggest any other cleaning process(chemical free) for surface finishing.
Regards,

First of two simultaneous responses --

Screen out the large ceramic and reuse. Throw away or save the fines for other uses.
I thought that the higher end machines did this automatically and continuously.

Second of two simultaneous responses --

If media size is that important, then you should periodically sort or separate media through a classifier screen system. How often depends on useage and or the critical dimensions of your parts. You may not be able to completely eliminate the fragments but you will drastically reduce the problem. As a secondary solution, you should check your media supplier. Not all vendors produce good quality media. The heat, cure cycles, and bonding matrix are all very important. If the media doesn't look uniform in size and shape then I might look into another source.
