Coloring zinc or plain bolts?

I am looking for the best application to apply color to zinc or plain bolts without having problems with abrasion. Thanks!

Hi, Christopher. If they are zinc plated they can be chromated in bluish, yellow, olive, or black. Additionally the chromate can be dyed to several different colors, but only pastels, not deep vibrant colors. They can be painted or electrophoretic lacquered. The requirement that there not be a problem with abrasion is a little vague: all of these are only surface coatings and can be abraded off. Good luck.
