Heat Dissipation needed with Powder Coating

I have a customer asking if the substance known as Boron can be introduced into the Powder Coating Process. This is involving an LED lighting fixture that, because of it's design will trap the heat from the LED. They are looking for a Heat Dissipative Coating of some kind to protect the LED fixture from the threat of excessive heat.

Powder coating is best left alone once it's in the box. I wouldn't suggest powder for this, it shouldn't be reheated after it's cured. Investigate ceramics maybe?

As Sheldon states a ceramic applied as a powder would work... but my guess is that you do not have the baking temperatures to cure this type of coating. The most logical approach would be to re-design the lamp to be constructed from a more heat conductive metal or include a heat sink of some description into the design.
