How to polish to ~2 RMS with diamond lapping paste?
May 29, 2009
Hi. I would like to know which lapping paste(Grain size) I should use to polish a rod from 8 RMS to 0~2 RMS. my options are
Grain size 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12
which is the best option?
or I can use general purpose lapping paste: grain size 1, 5, 7.5, 9,
9.5, 10
Or should I use Boron Carbide Lapping paste?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!
