BLACK CHROME FOR FAUCETS

May 28, 2009

I am a little surprised that chrome plating could be black, but seems to be this is the reality.
What do you think about this kind of plating for sanitary faucets?
Can have the same resistance as the "normal" chrome plating?
Thank you

Black chrome us sensitive and you need gloves for handling.
Black chrome is not an acceptable finish for bathroom fittings.

The only black finish I know for bathroom fittings is black Ruthenium but it will cost you more.
