How to do two-layer / two-color powdercoat

Dear Sir:

Could you please advise how to applied two different color on metal substrate?One color is yellow and another is clear coat.The products comes out of our curing oven becomes ugly.

I smiled... I had not heard of powder being ugly. However, sounds like you need to lower the Kv of the gun down to 40-45 Kv for the second coat. Original mfgr. of alloy wheels will use three coats of powder (without any problems) to achieve the desired finish... primer, aluminium and final coat of clear. A photo of the ugly powder may help readers to offer alternative options to overcome this defect in the powder film.
