Chrome reduction ORP endpoint values
I have a small system that treats waste water of chromium. I'm using a biological method to treat chromate. As we know the ORP endpoint values for chemical method approx. 250mV.The chemical treatment for chromium usually operated at pH 2-3. My system was operated at pH 6.5-7.0 that can automatically reduce the ORP as we know ORP value will decrease as the pH increases. So I have to set my ORP endpoint value lower than chemical treatment. Usually I managed to get negative value of ORP that remove Cr6 to Cr3. Is that problem for water quality if the ORP gave negative value.
