Brighteners in cyanide zinc electroplating

My problem is about the suitable brighteners for cyanide zinc electroplating. I have tested BPCNa, anisaldehyde bisulfite , condensation products of imidazole and epichlorohydrine and morfoline . I mean IME and MOME , but I couldn't gain brightened plates so I think I did a mistake in the ratio of mixing these component. also I know that all others parameters of bath are right and the only problem is related to brightener and its percentage, so please guide me what should I do ?

Hi, Parichehr. Perhaps the next thing should be a hull cell test so you can see the brightness or lack of brightness across the full voltage/current density range.

Companies which market effective brighteners have spent much time and money developing their formulations. These are their trade secrets, which allow them to market their product.

If anyone knows these formulas, they are never going to reveal them in an open, non-profit way.

If you want to develop your own effective brightener, you are going to have to spend your time, your effort and your money.

You won't get effective brightener formulas for free on the internet. You won't get the formula for Coca-Cola either.
