Stainless steel insulating plating
I am wondering if you can plate SS 316 or SS 316L that forms a capacitor like effect from the plate. This plating should act like an insulator to the plate that is coated. example with Glass Powder placed onto a SS 316 plate if the surface of the plate will conduct around 12 to 14 volts/Microns, where the conductivity of the glass powder is around 12 to 14 volts/micron. So I am looking to know if you can plate something onto a SS plate and be around 12 to 14 volts per micron. Thickness being probably around 4 thousandths of an inch.
Thanks
