Black chrome motor bike exhaust system

I am in the process to customize my SUZUKI TL1000S and want to do something about the rusty look of the exhaust system, and I am considering black chrome. Will it be practical or are there any other suggestions to solve this "rusty look".

Hi, Hannes. If your exhaust system is rusty and you want to fix it, you must have it replated. If you do that, there is no reason it can't be black chrome instead of bright chrome (if you can find a plating shop to do it).
