Need a pewter color finish for aluminum punch panels
I am using aluminum flashing to make tin punch panels for my cabinets. I am wanting to know if there is a way to make the aluminum have a gray/pewter color type finish. I really don't want the shiny finish.

Ideally you should use real tin, Judy. But failing that, you might try a wax rub ( ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] ) on the aluminum. Good luck.
