Difference between 5005 or B57 aluminum alloy?

April 7, 2009

We regularly buy anodising quality rolled sheet and are struggling to decipher the difference between alloys being offered!
I understand that J57 is Alcan's 'guaranteed anodising quality' alloy but can anyone tell me the pro's/con's & differences between B57 & 5005?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
