Organic dyes for colouring of aluminum

I am Ashfaq from Pakistan student of metallugical & materials engg. I have my graduate project on Anodizing & colouring of Aluminum. I had done Anodizing but problem is that I don't have any idea about organic dyes, kindly help me by enlisting some organic dyes which I can use for colouring of aluminum in laboratory.

First of two simultaneous responses --

Dye that is sold for clothes might work well enough for your needs, but will not be as good as using a commercial dye for anodizing. In the USA, there are a couple of places that sell small quantities of dye from a major MFG for hobby type people. To find a shop nearer to you, do an internet search with quotation marks so that it has to find those exact words or you will get thousands of hits.
Why do you want to limit yourself to organic dyes? They are not as colorfast as some of the ones with a bit of metal in them.

Second of two simultaneous responses --

Aluminum dyes are proprietary products but you can use alizarine solution to dye it red.Try to find any better book on aluminum finishing (Wernick,Pinner for example). Old Fishlocks book on metal colouring is a very good source of info too. Hope it helps and good luck!
