Steps before rhodium plating 18kt white gold?

March 17, 2009

Hi,
The questions for which I don't have the answers are:
1. What are the processed that need to be taken before I can rhodium plate 18kt white gold?
2. How can I achieve them? (Tools required, and where can I source them from)
3. What are the ways in which I can check for them in case they were over looked?
4. And can the same steps be taken if I have to apply rhodium on yellow gold?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Hi, Omar. Neil has referred us to an on-line article with a good explanation of these things. Please try to cast your questions in terms of what the article says, rather than asking Neil to re-post. Thanks!
