Hi, Prabhu. It sounds like you are looking for a troubleshooting book for hard chrome plating. Guffie's "Hard Chromium Plating" should be pretty close to what you need to sort through this long laundry list of defects. Good luck.

PEEL OFF IS BECAUSE OF POOR SURFACE PREPARATION.
OIL FREE SURFACE SHOULD BE FIRST ETCHED IN CHROMIC ACID FOR 30 SECS. THEN CHROME PLATED.
ROUGHNESS IS BECAUSE OF LOW TEMP. LOW CONC. OF CHROMIC ACID.
BURNING IS BECAUSE OF HIGH CURRENT USE PROPER SHIELDS AT HIGH CURRENT DENSITY AREA.
IN CHROME PLATING YOU CAN PASS CURRENT FROM 100AMP/SQFEET TO 600 AMP/SQ FEET OF CURRENT.
YOU CAN PLATE ONE MICRON IN ONE MINUTE.
ANODE PURE LEAD OR UPTO 10% TIN CAN BE MIXED.
I WILL SUGGEST YOU TO CONSULT A CHEMICAL SUPPLIER IN YOUR CITY AND DISCUSS WITH HIM ABOUT YOUR REQUIREMENT.
