Ideal thickness of Cu and Ag to minimize RF loss

we were doing silver plating 60 on al.alloy on al.alloy 6061-T6 material. My customer complains that his component ( a filter /diplexer) is showing more loss. Thickness of the plating is suspected. Advice the proper thickness of plating and the thickness of each layer.

Hi, Srinivas. This sounds to me like an electronic engineering problem that we can't answer here, rather than a plating question. But maybe another reader will view it differently and be able to help you.

Plating thickness has to be few times the skin depth for the particular radio frequency. Secondly the coating should have least electrical resistance to minimise losses. You may check both.
