Flame resistant applications...ie Stove top grates

I've been searching the net now for an hour looking for a product or service, at a reasonable cost, for refinishing my ugly, never come clean again, stove top grates. During my search I started wondering if this could become a business during these hard times. People like me, that can't afford a new oven, which leads to new base cabinets, etc. might find this an attractive option. The parts stores want almost $50 a pop to replace one. Add in all the burner caps and knobs and you're well past the cost that a reasonable man would pay for this. Thank you for considering my inquiry.

Hi, Robert. I think that manufacturing replacement parts could be a viable business in these days of internet search engines, where publicity is no longer expensive. But I doubt that a recoating service would be feasible because it generally involves so much fastitidious labor that replacing parts is probably less expensive than refinishing existing ones. But if you would like to consider offering such a service, please look into porcelain enameling. The surface on thee parts is not paint, but is more like melted glass. Good luck.
