Liquid Nitriding over Chrome plating
Greetings,
I have a shaft, part of which has been chrome plated. Now, I wish to liquid nitride the rest of the shaft. Should there be any problems with the pre-existing chrome? I have heard that Nitriding will not stick to chrome, but I am looking for confirmation of this from someone with experience. Can anyone help? Thanks!
