Diamonds?

Hi, I received a ring from my boyfriend. and I wanted to know what the one marking means on the inside, it is yellow gold, with diamonds, and on one side it says 10k so I know that one, but on the other side it has a small picture of a diamond with what I think is an f inside, does that mean the diamonds are fake or something? I would really like to know!

I think that it is one of the grades of the 4 C's of diamond grading. Your best answer is to go to a certified gemologist and have him appraise the quality of the diamond, not the price.

It may indicate the "color" of the diamond. An "F" diamond is supposed to be colorless (and more valuable). But remember, it's the thought that counts....
