Plating on coil, music wire springs?
I normally use music wire for making springs; But now the requirement is different.
This is going in a sulfuric acid environment and also should deliver high forces.
Has anyone got some experience on this? Also if you can suggest any other material to achieve my requirement?
I tried using Stainless steel 304 grade but it is reducing the life drastically. Is this a better option?
If I go for music wire with nickel plating? Will it help? What would be the implications?
